Meet The AFM Family

Adelita was born and raised in Lombok, the island next to Bali. She holds a degree in Accounting from Universitas Pendidikan Nasional Bali. In her free time, Adelita loves reading fantasy novels and is an avid collector of works by authors like J.R.R. Tolkien and J.K. Rowling. She has a deep affection for the beach and spending time with her cats, she enjoys traveling to new places.

Andrew has joined AFM after many successful years running his own practice, bringing with him a wealth of experience in taxation and a specialisation in Self Managed Superannuation Funds.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending quality time with his family, cycling, playing golf, indulging in a good glass of red wine, and watching AFL.

Anthony has had an extensive career in the accounting spanning more than 35 years working in various roles in private and public businesses, with the last 11 years in public accounting before joining AFM.
Outside of work he can be seen pounding the pavement and cycling the Adelaide Hills. While he enjoys travelling with his wife, spending time with his family and watching the Crows.

Cris Harrison brings energy, enthusiasm, and a proactive approach to her role as a TA for team Simon. Outside of work, Cris enjoys staying active—whether it’s through Pilates, hiking, or just finding ways to move and stay engaged. She values quality time with family and friends, and has a keen eye for shopping and style.

Currently completing her Diploma in Accounting, Cris is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. Her dedication to both her studies and her work makes her a dynamic and valued part of the AFM team.

Born and raised in Bali, Desy developed an early interest in accounting during high school and has since built her career around it. She is a full-time lecturer at Universitas Pendidikan Nasional (Undiknas), one of Bali’s leading private universities, where she teaches financial accounting and taxation.

At AFM Services Bali, Desy enjoys applying her academic knowledge to real-world practice and supporting clients with professionalism and care.

Outside of work, she loves spending time with her family, cooking new recipes, listening to music, and reading fantasy novels — having grown up with Harry Potter as one of her lifelong favourites.

Dom has joined AFM Services after many years working across large mid-tier firms in Adelaide. Dom takes great pleasure in working with his clients to achieve their financial goals.

He specialises in Advisory, Business Restructures and Complex Taxation.

Outside of work, you’ll often find Dom playing cricket, watching the AFL and cooking delicious dishes.

Erin Johns began her journey with AFM in 2019 and is now the Supervisor of Team Rob. Known for her enthusiasm for learning and her willingness to take on new challenges, Erin plays a key role in supporting her team and driving continuous growth. In 2025, she received her CPA designation, reflecting her commitment to professional development and excellence.

Outside of work, Erin is a dedicated mum to a little girl. She also enjoys travelling and making the most of her time with family and friends.

Hanson graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Accounting) from The University of Adelaide in 2024.

During his university studies, Hanson completed multiple internships at the Big 4 accounting firms. He has experience working in Business and Tax Advisory, Audit and Assurance, Business Advisory and Services. Hanson started as an Undergraduate Cadet at AFM Services, which gave him the opportunity to implement his university knowledge into the workplace.

Outside of work, Hanson enjoys playing badminton, learning to play the piano and travelling.

Jack is a dedicated Paraplanner at AFM Wealth Strategy, who has recently completed his study of a Bachelor of Business (Financial Planning) with aspirations to complete a Professional Year and become a Financial Adviser.

Outside of work and study, Jack lives an active lifestyle, enjoying football, camping and golf.

James is a dedicated undergraduate accountant in the compliance team at AFM. He is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Adelaide in his second year. Driven by a commitment to professional growth, James plans to pursue accreditation as a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) upon graduation.

Jess is a recently graduated Chartered Accountant with 4 years of experience in accounting. She is passionate about accounting because it allows her to help individuals and business clients navigate both their financial and personal challenges, offering practical solutions along the way.

In addition to her background in taxation, Jess has a strong interest in sustainability and enjoys supporting businesses in achieving their sustainability goals.

She believes in the power of combining sound financial advice with sustainable practices to create a positive impact.

Outside of work, Jess is an avid traveller who loves to explore new places, along with gardening, playing soccer, spending time with animals, and enjoying the serenity of the river.

These activities keep Jess balanced and inspired, and she brings that same energy and passion to her professional life.

Joseph decided that Accountancy was his career choice after doing work experience at an accounting firm in Year 12. After joining AFM in 2020 and graduating shortly after, Joseph is extremely excited to learn from AFM’s experienced accountants. On weekends, you’ll find Joseph playing and watching football, and he has a keen interest in Formula One.

Meet Juliette, the new warm and welcoming presence at our reception. With an impressive 18-year career in the banking and financial services industry, Juliette brings a wealth of experience across multiple disciplines, including administration and client services. She is renowned for her unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional client care daily. Valuing collaboration, Juliette is thrilled to be part of the AFM Services team.

Outside of work, Juliette treasures spending time with family and friends, enjoys music and attending concerts, loves cooking a variety of cuisines, and channels her creativity through photography, art, oil painting, and exploring nature.

With a strong background in management and a proven track record in customer relations and service excellence, Kimmie is the AFM Wealth Strategy Client Services Manager.

Known for her infectious smile and sense of humour, Kimmie brightens up the office atmosphere every day.

She’s also always prepared, keeping a stash of snacks for everyone to enjoy – a thoughtful touch that’s appreciated by all.

Beyond her role at AFM, Kimmie’s creativity shines through in everything she does, from whipping up culinary masterpieces to capturing moments behind the camera, to designing digital artwork.

Lachy is a dedicated paraplanner at AFM Wealth Strategy, bringing a strong foundation in economics, finance, and trade.

Having recently completed his Bachelor of Business at UniSA, he is currently pursuing his Master of Financial Planning, with ambitions to become a qualified Adviser in the near future.

Lachy works closely with experienced Advisors to further develop his expertise and deliver comprehensive strategies.

Outside of his professional and academic pursuits, he enjoys staying active through golf, gym, surfing, and exploring new activities, reflecting his diverse range of interests and commitment to a balanced lifestyle.

Luke is a dedicated and detail-oriented undergraduate accountant in the compliance team at AFM Services, with one year of hands-on experience in the Accounting & Taxation industry.

Known for his diligence and strong analytical mindset, he brings a solid foundation in technical accounting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Luke thrives in dynamic environments where precision and insight are key, consistently contributing to accurate financial reporting and process improvements.

Luke is currently studying a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Adelaide. Beyond his professional role, Luke enjoys playing AFL, spending time on the golf course and is actively involved in charitable initiatives and community programs.

Marsh is a bookkeeper at AFM Services with a wealth of experience, holding a Master’s in Accountancy from UniSA. With 15 years in bookkeeping and administration, Marsh thrives on challenges and eagerly takes on new tasks. Outside of work, she enjoys travelling, meeting new people, and sharing meals with family and friends, showcasing a sociable and adventurous spirit.

Matthew is an Undergraduate Accountant at AFM Services, currently studying a Bachelor of Economics (Advanced) and Bachelor of Commerce (Corporate Finance) at the University of Adelaide. A recipient of the prestigious John Creswell Scholarship and multiple academic excellence awards, Matthew brings strong analytical skills and a passion for financial economics to his role.

Prior to joining AFM, Matthew worked at Westpac managing high-volume transactions and client support, and gained exposure to business advisory and finance through placements at KPMG and People’s Choice Credit Union. His diverse experience also includes customer-facing roles in hospitality, where he developed resilience, teamwork and leadership under pressure.

Outside of work and study, Matthew enjoys staying active through rugby, tennis and chess, and is committed to giving back through leadership and community involvement.

Mela joined AFM with gratitude and holds a degree in accounting from a local university in Bali. She is a fast learner who enjoys exploring new things and is known for being a good listener. In her free time, Mela enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing with her fur baby, gardening, cooking, and making short promotional videos for social media. She also loves the beach and travelling.

Michael takes great pleasure in assisting clients achieve their financial goals, having helped many purchase their dream homes, the perfect vehicle, or just restructuring their business finance. He says there’s ‘Never a boring day’ as each client is different, which helps him keep his enthusiasm fresh. Professionalism, integrity and knowledge are the driving forces he prides himself on. Michael is an avid sports follower and is always up for a chat about AFL, cricket and spends his time outside of work enjoying the company of family and friends, sampling the state’s fine wines!

Miriam has recently joined AFM as a Team Assistant. With a background in administration, Miriam loves getting in and getting the job done. She is known for being resourceful and always ready to lend a hand. Miriam is passionate about self-development and is currently pursuing studies in Accounting to become a Chartered Accountant.

Outside of work, she cherishes the time spent with her loved ones.

Narelle is AFM’s Office and Administration Coordinator, known for her calm leadership, unwavering dedication, and genuine care for both clients and colleagues. With a strong commitment to her role, Narelle plays a central part in ensuring the day-to-day operations of AFM run smoothly, always upholding the team’s high standards of professionalism and heart.

Her keen attention to detail, exceptional interpersonal skills, and approachable nature make her a trusted and respected point of contact for both staff and clients. Passionate about fostering a supportive and positive workplace culture, Narelle is always ready to lend a hand—or share a laugh when it’s needed most.

Outside the office, Narelle enjoys spending quality time with family, spoiling her fur kids, listening to podcasts, and cheering on her beloved Hawks (Go Hawthorn!). She values the importance of personal wellbeing and strives to maintain a healthy balance between life and work.

Natalie has been a valued member of the AFM team since 2011. As a senior member of our administration team, Natalie brings over a decade of experience, dedication, and deep organisational knowledge to her role. Her commitment to operational excellence and team support has made her an integral part of AFM’s success. Natalie is known for her attention to detail, professionalism, and her ability to keep things running smoothly behind the scenes.

Outside of the office, Natalie is a dedicated mum to two gorgeous girls. She enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends.

Nick is currently in the process of becoming a Financial Planner. Having completed his studies and his Financial Adviser Exam in June 2025, Nick commenced his Professional Year in November 2025. Nick is now a provisional authorised representative of Independent Financial Advisers Australia and is looking forward to building on his knowledge and skills in the Financial Planning Industry.

Outside of work and study, he enjoys spending time with his loveable pup, Pepe, and staying active through sports like basketball and football.

Olivia is an Undergraduate Accountant at AFM Services, where she applies her strong analytical skills and attention to detail while balancing part-time work with her studies. She is currently completing a Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Accounting at the University of Adelaide.

Olivia began her tertiary studies in a Bachelor of Mathematical and Computer Sciences and later transitioned to Accounting. Her technical and problem-solving background strengthens her financial expertise. Her diverse academic background and impressive resume reflect both adaptability and dedication to professional growth.

Outside of work and study, Olivia dedicates much of her spare time to her horse, Peaches.

Olivia graduated Year 12 from St Ignatius College and began her time at AFM in January 2025. She moved from her role in reception and is now a junior bookkeeper, building on her knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping. Olivia is passionate about animals and may one day soon attend university to study veterinary science. With a love for dogs, Olivia is a proud dog owner and dedicates her free time to volunteering with animal rehoming organisations. Outside of animal care, Olivia also serves as a goal umpire for the SANFL, combining a passion for sports with community involvement.

Rob joined the AFM Family in August 2021. Robert has worked extensively in the Tax and accounting industry for 35 years including roles in the Tax Office, Chartered Accounting, Corporate Tax and the last 20 years as a sole public practitioner servicing his own clients. He wants to use this work experience together with his client liaison skills to our AFM clients. He is looking forward to the challenge of meeting with AFM clients. Rob values his personal friendships and socialising whilst enjoying the delights of SA’s food and wine industry.

Rose has been at the heart of AFM since its founding in 1995. As our dedicated Practice Manager, Rose is affectionately known as the team’s “office mum” and the go-to person for client care. With a deep commitment to supporting both the AFM team and our clients, she has become an irreplaceable part of the business.

Rose is renowned for her expertise in budgeting for clients’ BAS and taxation debts in advance, ensuring their financial responsibilities are not only managed, but planned for with care and precision. Her warm and personal approach means she’s often the first person clients ask for when they call or walk through the door—and she’s never too busy to say hello, share a smile, or offer one of her famous hugs.

Rose is a amazing cook who delights in catering for her family, friends, and the lucky AFM team. From her divine pasta dishes to her to-die-for desserts, she’s always making sure everyone is well looked after. When she’s not in the kitchen, you’ll likely find her enjoying travel adventures or spending quality time with the people she loves most, her family and friends.

Sarah has recently graduated from the University of Adelaide and brings four years of accounting experience to the table. Her expertise spans various sectors, including agribusiness and construction. She also has experience in management, reporting and advisory services.

Outside of her professional life, Sarah enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports, and is an avid Hawthorn fan.

Seth is an Assistant Finance Broker and our newest member of the AFM Finance Solutions team. Working alongside Michael, Seth is currently studying to become fully qualified in Finance and Mortgage Brokering. Additionally, Seth is an Undergraduate at the University of South Australia studying a Bachelor of Finance.

Outside of work, Seth enjoys following sports, catching up with friends and travelling down the Fleurieu Peninsula to visit family.

Seth has a passion for Finance and aspires to be a fully qualified Finance Broker.

Sharol was born and raised in Bali. She graduated from a local university with a degree in accounting through an international class program.

Sharol is passionate about gaining international experience through work, language, and further studies. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her niece — playing with pets, going shopping, or visiting the arcades.

As a Balinese woman, she also helps her family prepare offerings, especially during major religious holidays.

Simon has an unparalleled attention to detail and methodical approach to his work. He prides himself on his consistency and, after commencing at AFM over a decade ago, delights in informing you that he has only ever had to go off sick once in 2009. When not playing sport himself, Simon avidly follows teams ranging from the Glenelg Tigers and Hawthorn Hawks in Aus, to the Orlando Magic and Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the US – as a result of marrying a very patient wife, he was lucky enough to attend multiple games for each of the latter during their honeymoon! Hidden talent…ability to rap – and not only a large catalogue of songs but in some cases entire albums. The older the song… the better!

Tasha Asanopoulos is a Team Assistant for Team Dom, supporting Advisory Services and serving as the go-to person for all things ASIC. Known for her positive energy and strong organisational skills, Tasha plays a key role in supporting the team and contributing to a collaborative, family-like workplace culture.

Over the years, Tasha has held a range of administrative roles at AFM, including being the friendly face at reception. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her young and growing family.

Tony is the Director of AFM Wealth Strategy and a Senior Financial Planner with over 25 years of experience in the financial planning industry.

With a background of 15 years at Centrelink, Tony has developed a wealth of expertise in helping clients navigate their financial landscapes and achieve their personal and financial goals.

He is particularly passionate about promoting independence in financial advice and currently serves as a board member of the Profession of Independent Financial Advisers (PIFA).

Outside of his professional life, Tony is a devoted father of four, a proud grandfather of four, and “paw-rent” of 2.

Say hello to Vic, a seasoned Certified Practising Accountant. Vic comes to us after running a successful accounting firm for many years. With a strong background in both corporate and individual accounting, Vic has established himself as a trusted advisor for clients seeking precise and strategic financial solutions.Outside of work, Vic enjoys travelling, having recently returned from Italy.

Bookkeeper – Vivien joined the AFM team in Feb 2021 after 30 years in hospitality admin after being scouted by Rose. Loves learning new tasks and loves challenges. Outside of work she is involved in netball, playing masters and coaching, however, enjoying a meal with family and friends is always on the top of the list.

Will brings a unique blend of skills to the AFM Services team. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, he embarked on his journey at AFM as an intern, steadily rising to the role of a dedicated Junior Accountant. Within this capacity, Will leverages his expertise to handle compliance and tax preparation tasks with precision and care. But Will’s talents don’t stop at finance; he also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music, showcasing his diverse range of interests.

Beyond the confines of the office, Will is a passionate gamer, finding joy in titles like Rocket League and various Nintendo games. He’s no stranger to the competitive world of e-sports, where he hones his skills and strategy. When it’s time to unwind, Will takes pleasure in the nuanced flavours of whiskey and the comforting aroma of a freshly brewed cup of coffee. Will’s dynamic skills and multifaceted interests make him a valuable asset to the AFM Services team.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s in Cybersecurity, focusing on advanced information security, network defence, and risk management. Alongside his academic endeavours, he works in IT support at AFM, where he applies his technical expertise to assist users and maintain system integrity. With a strong foundation in IT support and a commitment to cybersecurity, Wonil is dedicated to safeguarding digital environments and enhancing organizational resilience against evolving cyber threats

As one of the senior advisors of the AFM Wealth Strategy Team, Zac strives to assist clients in all stages of life to realise and achieve their financial goals.

With a wealth of knowledge in Centrelink, superannuation, investments and personal risk insurances, no problem is too complicated for Zac to solve.

Zac loves to build strong relationships with all that he meets.

He believes that to truly understand your personal circumstances and develop a well-tailored financial plan, a strong relationship that is built on trust is a necessity.

Outside of the office, Zac is a footy and motorsport fanatic who enjoys talking all things sports regardless of the code.

If not at the footy, you will usually find Zac (or not find him) somewhere off the beaten track on one of his adventures.
